The Washington Wolfpack arena football team is Western Washington’s newest professional sports team franchise. We are members of the Arena Football One League, and our home field is in Everett’s Angel Of The Winds Arena. Our inaugural season was in 2024, and we drew thousands of fans from all over Snohomish County, North King County, and South Skagit County in our first year.
With our second season upon us, we are overwhelmed by the growing excitement and fan support this new team has generated. The team was formed by three civic minded owners with a mission statement of building a first-class sports team while growing and fostering community pride and economic opportunities in the region. As the price of attending regional sporting events has grown out of reach for many residents of the Pacific Northwest, the aim is to provide exciting professional sports events and entertainment at prices that are more accessible to everyone in the region. The organization also works with a nonprofit group called The One Community Foundation to give access to games as well as sports engagement to underprivileged children in the area, so that the thrill of arena league football is available for all.
We are actively looking for partners who want to create positive family friendly experiences, build up our sense of community, while also enhancing goodwill and brand awareness for their companies and organizations. If you are a company with a presence in North King County, Snohomish County, and South Skagit County, and you share this passion, we’d love to meet with you and discuss how we can work together. We want you to be a part of this exciting new venture. What do we offer? Arena Football One is a professional national sports league with 10 teams. Match-ups take place on a smaller 50- yard field allowing for faster action, high scoring games and adrenaline pumping plays that take place right at the edge of the spectator’s seats.
Our players are all high caliber athletes. Many are former NFL players with a dream of re-entering the league. Others are recent college standouts, hoping to improve and earn a place in the NFL, while others are just talented players, putting their heart and soul into the team to keep playing the sport. We also have experienced Jonathan “J.W.” West as our on-field and in-the-stands "hype" announcer who pumps up the crowd and narrates various additional entertainment segments including theme nights, a T-shirt cannon, the Howler Truck and half time car parade, our season ticket holder-of-the-week presentation, and our fan football toss at half time in which fans throw nerf footballs at a hoop in our team truck hoping to win a progressive cash prizes. He is tasked with announcing and promoting our sponsors throughout the event, as well as entertaining the crowds. Our mascot, Apollo the Whidbey Island wolf, is constantly wandering the stadium, engaging with fans and entertaining kids of all ages.
The games, including halftime, are two hours and forty-five minutes long, with doors opening an hour before kickoff. There is an additional half hour of interaction and engagement after the games, where players and coaches can chat with the fans, sign autographs and take selfies. To hold fan attention and keep the energy up throughout the attendance, we also have in-house entertainment including DJ Trunks who also DJ’d for the Seattle Kraken.
Our fan base is usually pulled from a 20-mile radius of the Angel Of The Winds Arena. We have seen fans attend from Bellingham and Tacoma in 2024. 2025 is sure to bring additional interest from outside our focused demographic as we expand our reach into the surrounding communities. We are excited to announce a league sponsorship with EvergreenNow, a popular streaming service. Our games will be accessible via live stream and archived on Hulu, Google TV, FireTV, Samsung, TVos, LG, and Vizio. This will vastly improve our viewing accessibility for fans on both home and away games, ultimately increasing exposure for our valued partners and sponsors.
This is the story of a brand new team, full of extraordinary players and coaches who want to build something special. This is the story of a community that warmly embraces and celebrates their teams, like the Seahawks, Silvertips and Aquasox. We can feel the desire to have a new and unique franchise in the arena, and we sense how vested they are in our team and our success. These fans understand that sponsorships by businesses and organizations in the community make this happen and allow them to enjoy these events at affordable prices. In short, teams build communities that support and uplift each other, and our sponsors can become a big part of this story as well. Through exposure at the events, in our social media engagement, and media distributions, we help spread the word about your brand, and work hard to create awareness and product loyalty among our new Wolfpack family. If you share our dream of affordable sports entertainment and a vibrant new franchise within our community, we want you on our team. We'd love the opportunity to talk with you and see how we might partner up and grow together. #OneCommunity
